We are both graduates of Macquarie University in Sydney and we’re also members of Chiropractic Australia. We run a lovely family clinic in beautiful Paddington, Brisbane and we both have our own clinical focus. Of course we both treat all the normal things you associate with chiropractic care, like neck pain, headaches, lower back pain and sciatica. Amanda also has a special focus on treating conditions of the back and hips as well as working with mothers and babies to address the musculoskeletal aspects of pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding. You can read more about Amanda below. Michael has focused his further studies particularly on sports and exercise injuries, as well as the strength and rehab exercises that help manage them so well. Michael is also very interested in the treatment of jaw pain and disorders of the temporo-mandibular joint (or TMJ). These problems can manifest as clicks and pops in the jaw on movement, speaking or chewing, and sometimes as headaches, night pain and sleeplessness. Michael and Amanda both know that you have a lot going on and don’t have time to be slowed down by pain and injury. And we know that you are willing to do the work to get the best results. We are here to help you get out of pain and resolve your musculoskeletal issues through specific Chiropractic adjustments, targeted muscle work and tailored exercises to create healthy movement and get you feeling more like yourself again. "Sims & Finn Chiropractic takes a Neuro-Structural approach to care, focusing on correcting underlying spinal shifts that may contribute to secondary conditions such as discomfort, stiffness, or reduced mobility. Unlike traditional chiropractic approaches that often target only surface-level symptoms, this method aims to improve the structural foundation of the body for long-term results. The clinic was founded in 1962 by Dr R. T. (Tom) Sims and expanded in 1989 when Dr Paul Finn joined the practice. Today, the team comprises nine chiropractors, bringing over one hundred years of combined experience. Sims & Finn Chiropractic serves patients across three convenient locations in Dandenong, Frankston, and Pakenham. Each clinic provides individualised care, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to the specific needs and goals of every patient. The practice treats a wide range of conditions, from back and neck pain to headaches, posture-related issues, and musculoskeletal concerns. The team works closely with patients to support improved movement, comfort, and overall wellbeing.
